Vertikal Nydalen er et av Norges mest ambisiøse miljøprosjekter. Bygget er utviklet av Avantor og tegnet av Snøhetta. Det er et Futurebuilt forbildeprosjekt som setter en ny standard for nybygg, forhåpentligvis til inspirasjon og etterfølgelse av andre.

I byggets 1. og 2. etasje er det personalrestaurant, møteromsfasiliteter og restaurant. I 3. til 7. etasje finnes kontorer med unike kvaliteter i forhold til materialbruk, tekniske løsninger og med takhøyde på opptil 3,45 meter. Fra 8. til 18. etasje er det til sammen 40 leiligheter fra 44 til 143 kvm – alle unike. På toppen av bygget finnes to takterrasser for beboere – med panoramautsikt over byen.

Vertikal Nydalen
Vertikal Nydalen, opened in 2024, was developed by Avantor and designed by Snøhetta. The building is groundbreaking with respect to both architecture and sustainability.

• Futurebuilt role model project with status BREEM NOR Excellent
• Pilot construction in the LowEx research project, with innovative solutions for ventilation, heating and cooling.

The building has very low maintenance needs and extensive plan flexibility. The interior environment has good air quality and good plan solutions with balconies and window placement.  The design of the building creates optimal light and wind conditions.  Street level provides common areas and restaurants, offices and housing on the upper levels.  Exterior areas are developed as living urban space.
